Performance Project
A multi-day intensive performance and training project with New York City's master dance artists. Each Performance Project is tailored specifically to the artist and their personal creative process. The intensive will culminate in a live performance, with footage provided to each participant.

Performance Project with Akira Uchida
Dates: Wednesday, July 31 - Saturday, August 3 (2:00-6:00pm), and Sunday, August 4 (8:00-11:00am [BREAK] Show at 2:30pm)
Regular Price: $500
Level: Advanced
Note: Attendance is mandatory for all days. Participants need to apply and will be notified of program acceptance by Monday, June 24.
The project includes:
- Learn the fundamental principles and ideas behind Akira's movement vocabulary
- Daily warm-up / improvisational work & phrase work
- Group discussion and play
- Compositional exploration to integrate the information in movement
- Build meaningful connections in a welcoming space
- Filmed live performance at Peridance's KnJ Theater
