    Ariel Goussak

    Strength Training

    Biography:

Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, Ariel Goussak is an NYC based freelance dancer and personal trainer. She received a BFA in Dance from George Mason University and has performed works by Robert Battle, Ihasm Rustem, and Christopher D'Amboise. Ariel has been a NASM Certified Personal Trainer for over 4 years and has additional certifications in Corrective Exercise, Nutrition, TRX, and Pre/Post Natal Training. She has worked with over 100 clients both in person and online spaces and focuses on functional training for all of her clients.

    Class Description:

This class is designed to make dancers stronger and reduce risk of injury. Using the 5 principle functional movements patterns (squat, hinge, push, pull, and carry), this class will help dancers build muscle, improve neuromuscular connections, and focus on alignment. Different regressions and progressions are always offered in order to ensure that all students are both challenged and safe at all times.
