ABSOLUTE BEGINNER WORKSHOPS

Adult Absolute Beginner Workshops Series offer introductory classes over a period of five to six consecutive weeks for absolute beginners. The classes are fun and dynamic while maintaining an encouraging and challenging atmosphere for new students. Absolute Beginner Workshops are perfect for adult students who have little or no experience in dance. Students are welcome to take a single drop in class of any style or purchase a 6 class package at a discounted rate. Take 6 classes of the same genre or mix and match between genres to try something new!

PERFORMANCE PROJECT

A multi-day intensive performance and training project with New York City's master dance artists. Each Performance Project is tailored specifically to the artist and their personal creative process. The intensive will culminate in a live performance, with footage provided to each participant.

Sunday Sessions is a workshop series inviting participants to explore improvisational tools & tactics in contemporary dance, and through the lens of teaching artists who actively use improvisation in their generative work. A 2-hour workshop will guide movers through modalities that will help develop individual movement invention and lead into ensemble practices that will open up possibilities of connecting with others as we build each moment together.
