Teen Summer Intensive

An innovative teen summer intensive connecting dancers from around the world.
Peridance’s Teen Summer Intensive is a 2-week comprehensive training program designed for dancers ages 12-17 to develop, increase, and strengthen their level of technique, self-confidence, and artistry. An experienced and knowledgeable faculty strongly emphasizes clean technique and self-discipline within a nurturing and supportive environment.
The curriculum will include daily classes in Ballet Technique, Contemporary Forms & Modern Dance, Commercial Dance & Street Styles, Body Conditioning, and Choreographic Projects. Students will work in choreographic creative process with renowned choreographers.
At the end of the two weeks, participants will demonstrate their work in a fully produced performance presented at Peridance’s KnJ Theater.
Program Dates:
Monday, June 30th - Sunday, July 12th, 2025 (Please note: there are no classes on July 4, 2025.)

Admissions:
Students are admitted to Teen Intensive by audition only. Please visit our AUDITIONS page to register for an in-person audition near you. Students who cannot attend an in-person audition may also audition via online video submission. Video audition submissions are accepted until May 31, 2025.
Audition results will be emailed within two weeks of your audition along with the Registration Form. A minimum non-refundable Tuition Deposit and Registration Fee of $550 will be due at the time of registration. Full tuition for the program is $1350. Peridance is able to award partial to full merit-based scholarships. Scholarships are decided at the time of the audition. Dancers who are awarded a scholarship will be notified at the time of receiving their audition results. Scholarships can only be applied towards the cost of tuition. All dancers and their families are responsible for any housing, travel, meals, or related expenses.
Housing:
Chaperoned housing will be available at Marymount Manhattan dormitories for the duration of the program. The cost for housing is $1,400, which covers accommodations only. Please note that this price does not include meals or additional activities.
