36 CHAMBAZ OF STYLZ
36 Chambaz of Stylz, a collaboration with Dance Fusion, Elite Force, and The Misfitss, is hosts intensives that are attended by dance enthusiasts from all around the world. The two week-long Intensive included Dance, Fitness, Sessions, Panel Discussions, Graffiti Workshops, Live Art Exhibitions, The Marjory Smarth Remembrance Party and featured a variety of iconic DJ's. With New York City being the MECCA of Street Dance Culture, this event gave the international and home-based dance community inspiration and a foundation they can use to enhance their dance. BAILA SOCIETY
BAILA Society is a dance and theater company that showcases Afro-Latinx dance and music heritage through its international repertory company, online dance academy, live classes, community events, and cultural preservation efforts. BAILA Society’s Artistic Director, Ahtoy Juliana, has created numerous works for the company that have been featured in international dance festivals, musical revues, TV, and film. Through Ahtoy’s pioneering work in Afro-Latinx dance education, competition, and choreography, BAILA Society has successfully trained countless professional dancers, instructors, world champions, and other industry leaders. Ahtoy is also working on promoting the heritage of Latin Hustle in Latinx communities by archiving the experiences of the queer Latinx youth who pioneered the dance in the 1970’s. BAILA Society hosts and produces community events and dance showcases for non-profit efforts, such as the Latino Commission on AIDS, the YAI Network for children with disabilities, the American Liver Foundation, the Jorge Posada Foundation, and in·corpus. BAILA Society is committed to creating a safer and braver space for everyone to explore connection through social dancing. We use a gender-neutral approach to partner dancing and work under the guidance of community organizations like Safer Dance Spaces and Not Just Chisme to prevent and address sexual misconduct and sex-based discrimination. Peridance has been an official home of Djoniba Dance Centre for over 15 years. Djoniba Centre running exclusively a full suite of Ethnic and African dance classes, including African dance, Samba/Afro-Brazilian, Haitian, Afro-Caribbean, Cuban and much more.

Igal Perry, Founder and Artistic Director of Peridance Center, has been a longtime visionary and ambassador of dance and was one of the first NYC dance school owners to give Djoniba Mouflet the opportunity to teach African dance, Jazz, and Ballet when he first came to the United States. Igal Perry reaffirmed his continued support for Djoniba Mouflet and his Djoniba Dance and Drum Centre (DDDC) by providing DDDC with a new space to continue its dance classes after DDDC closed its own doors in December 2008. Djoniba Centre's 20-year history, worldwide recognition, and renowned teachers combined with Igal Perry's pioneering vision in the dance world, numerous classes and teachers will provide students from both organizations with an amazing variety of dance classes in a new state of the art home.
MOPTOP UNIVERSAL
MOPTOP Crew and Peridance Center have collaborated to launch the MOPTOP Universal Professional Program. This program provides an intensive and thorough education in street dance, led by influential figures from NYC's street and club scene. Participants will delve into history, terminology, vocabulary, performance, and technique, equipping them with essential skills for a professional dance career. In addition to the closed program, MOPTOP curates Street and Club Open Classes.
