Malang Bayo is a master dancer, choreographer and former member of the National Ballet of Senegal from 1986-1988. In addition to his extensive dance experience he is also an accomplished singer and drummer. He is well versed in the folklore and dance of the Wolof, Mandinka, Djola, and Bambara people of Senegal. Bayo’s work he has earned the opportunity to perform with many well-known artists including the Rolling Stone, Ziggy Marley, and at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, South Korea. In 1992, he founded Mussukeba Sane West African Ballet, a West African song and dance performance company that toured throughout Southern California.
