BIOGRAPHY
He danced in Michael Jackson's landmark 3D short film Captain EO. Choreographer and dancer in short films such as Alright, Nasty and many more. Member of the legendary Electric Boogaloos, The Third Generation of Lockers, and creator of the LA City Rockers. One of the masters and pioneers of Popping and also famous for his unique Locking style that incorporates foundations of Hip-Hop, B-Boying, Punking and Waacking. He has extensively toured in Japan, France, England, Canada and India. Dance instructor for Marlon Jackson (Jackson Five), Bill and Jackie Landrum, and Toni Basil. Taught at Regina Dance Studio (L.A.), Yale University (C.T.), NYU (NYC), Broadway Dance Center (NYC), Djoniba Dance and Drum Center (NYC) and Peridance (NYC), Co-creator of Urban Funk Spectacular and choreographed pieces for Full Circle. Director of Rhythmatic Funk Movement appeared on TV in the Mo'Nique Show at the Apollo Theater. Recently featured in the video of Matisyahu and Marley Coffee's Living For the Grind.

A master and pioneer of Popping, Jazzy J's free form class allows students of all levels and dance backgrounds to learn Popping. The class centers around original Popping movement and technique.
