BIOGRAPHY

HUMA is the resident arts collective at Arts On Site NYC, a non profit organization dedicated to supporting the development of artists. The collective furthers the mission of the organization to encourage artistic collaboration by creating opportunities for artists to create new works and engaging a broader arts community. HUMA provides movement classes, community outreach, and performances both nationally and internationally.

HUMA's Artistic Directors are a collection of artists from dance and visual art including Chelsea Ainsworth, Kyle Netzeband, Doron Perk, and Jessica Smith. Bringing together multiple experiences from international travels and professional outreach, the present work is influenced by a wide range of different cultures and seeks to become a forum for storytelling world-wide.
