BIOGRAPHY

Emma Rosa, Cuban New Jersey native, is a professional dancer, choreographer, and teacher in various styles ranging from heels and hip hop to contemporary and tap. Emma was recently a featured dancer on Tayla Parx’s international We Need to Talk Tour under the creative direction of Shirlene Quigley. She has also performed with American music artists including Trey Songz, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Todrick Hall, and VH1 Love & Hip Hop’s Mariah Lynn as well as Latin artists El Alfa, Sech, and Chimbala among others.
Emma was also a featured tap dancer in the Public Hotel’s sold out Carmen: To Havana and Back and is a member of Theresa Stone’s contemporary fusion company AbstraKT BEINGS, Shirlene Quigley’s heels crew Queendom, Maurice Chestnut’s tap company Dance Therapy, and Dolores Sanchez’s DOLO Project.

Currently, Emma is on faculty at Brickhouse and SassClass and has guest taught at Peridance Center and Ailey Extension. She is also a movement coach for emerging artists including Mia Gladstone, Remi Lewis, Imani Rey, and more.

She continues to share her passion for dance with those around her through performance, choreography, and teaching.

CLASS DESCRIPTION

Come take Heels Expression with Emma Rosa! It will start with a brief warm up out of your heels to get you moving, followed by some exercises in your heels to get you into these sensual grooves & practicing your technique. You will then put those exercises to practice when you're feeling yourself in some sultry choreography! Emma focuses the class on understanding your body, highlighting your personal strengths, & feeling unafraid to express yourself (even in front of the camera!) All genders welcomed, with or without shoes. Come with an open spirit & leave feeling more appreciation for who YOU are!
