Edson Maldonado was born and raised in Paterson, NJ. He grew up around people of different cultures and backgrounds which in turn helped shape his way of moving and interpretation of music. In 2011, he auditioned for and became a member of New Jersey's, Project D Dance Company. Furthering his training more seriously with a competitive team, Edson eventually became a co-artistic director helping lead Project D to multiple 1st place performances. After stepping down, Edson began to focus his energy into helping push the community forward. Currently he is represented by MSA Talent Agency in New York and teaches weekly classes at Exile Professional Gym (EXPG). He hopes that anyone that takes his class will be challenged both mentally and physically and leave with a new sense of growth, purpose, and inspiration
