BIOGRAPHY
Lola is a strong and vibrant addition to the dance world. She made her way to NYC to train as a professional tap dancer under the mentorship of Derick K. Grant, Lynn Schwab, Chloe Arnold, and Jared Grimes, just to name a few. Dolores has performed in venues such as New York’s prestigious City Center, The Public, The Duke, Lambs Theater, Symphony Space and Thalia Theater. She is currently a member of Chloe Arnold's tap company Apartment 33.
CLASS DESCRIPTION
Beginner Tap- A challenging yet, engaging experience of taking the fundamentals of tap dance to the next level. We will push for clarity in the basics while starting to build a relationship with music. We will create music, scat, slide, count, and learn a little history. All you need is a great work ethic and a pair of tap shoes. Come on out and expand your movement vocabulary by way of taps and channel your inner musician.
