Born in Japan, Cocoro has been dancing since she could walk. Knowledgeable in many different styles, she moved to NYC at a young age and continued her training in dance. Now a well known dancer in the street style community, teaching kids as well as adults at schools and studios in NYC. A member of the Ladies of Hip Hop Collective, she's held auditions for DanceLab NYC, performing in spaces such as Lincoln Center, Jacob's Pillow, The Guggenheim, etc. She is an excellent performer and artist as she represents the culture and strives and adapts in many different spaces.
