BIOGRAPHY

Ali Koinoglou is an award-winning choreographer based out of NYC. Her professional choreography debut was at the Symphony Space theater as a student in the Broadway Dance Center's Professional Semester, and since then has taken off! Ali’s most notable choreography credits include Disney+ movie premiere for the release of Sneakerella, MTV’s 50th Birthday Celebration for Madonna, TLC’s The Long Island Medium, & ABC’s Good Morning America. Outside of her TV credits, Ali has an extensive roster of choreography credits such as APAP’s Booking Dance Festival, Sybarite, Peridance Youth Arts Showcase, DUMBO Dance Festival, Brooklyn Dance Festival, Young Choreographers Festival, The New York Jazz Festival, HATCH: the series, Dixon Place Pop-Up Artist Spotlight, Dance Astoria, MishMash 201, Jazz Choreography Enterprise (JCE), White Wave Dance Festival, Unique Movers, KoDaFe Dance Festival, “TRANSLATE'' JChen Project, Jared Grimes' Run the Night, Harlem Dance Festival, & many more. Ali's work has been publicly recognized by the Pulse on Tour, Radix Dance Convention, Dance Mogul Magazine, & Dance Magazine.

Ali has been fortunate to be an assistant & associate choreographer on many projects including the Brooklynettes, Nike, Clarins, Colgate, SNL & Tag Hueler, along with other smaller industrial events such as the New York Presbyterian Employee Appreciation event. As a performer, some of Ali's most notable credits are the Capezio A.C.E. Awards, Carnival, Good Morning America, Dancers of New York & more!

In addition to choreography, Ali has a vast background in arts administration. She worked under director Bonnie Erickson at Broadway Dance Center as the programs Coordinator, as well as her PA. While working with Bonnie, Ali’s love for mentoring students started! Following this, Ali became media manager & personal assistant to five-time Emmy award winning Mia Michaels, as well as Derek Mitchell who Ali was fortunate to assist for many years.

Ali’s passion for administration skills, combined with her love for creating & educating dancers led her to found her company, Koin & Co.. The company was created as a platform for Ali’s professional works but has since blossomed into one of the leading educational programs in Manhattan for young, developing artists. With Ali’s vast network of colleagues, her trainees receive an exclusive edge on their training & key knowledge needed to prepare for a successful career in the performing arts industry.

Presently, Ali directs Koin & Co’s educational programs, is on faculty at Sacred Heart University & Broadway Dance Center, & choreographs for various dance teams, colleges & professional performances. Ali’s most fervent goal is to educate dancers to reach their full potential as talented dancers & all-around kind humans!
