ABSOLUTE BEGINNER WORKSHOPS
Adult Absolute Beginner Workshops Series offer introductory classes over a period of five to six consecutive weeks for absolute beginners. The classes are fun and dynamic while maintaining an encouraging and challenging atmosphere for new students. Absolute Beginner Workshops are perfect for adult students who have little or no experience in dance. Students are welcome to take a single drop in class of any style or purchase a 6 class package at a discounted rate. Take 6 classes of the same genre or mix and match between genres to try something new!

We will be teaching two levels simultaneously during this session: one for absolute beginners and another for those with some salsa experience looking to review and advance their skill level. BAILA Society will provide a thorough and authentic introduction to New York style salsa, also called "mambo" and "salsa on 2". You will learn fundamental footwork, turns, and lead/follow partnering techniques as well as the rich cultural history behind each move. Our instructors will guide you through the social etiquette of salsa dancing, preparing you for a fun night at the club after just your first class!
