Maxine Steinman
Limón
Biography:
Maxine Steinman holds an MA degree in dance education from Teachers College Columbia University. She has been teaching the José Limón Technique for over ten years, both nationally and internationally. She is on the dance faculty at Montclair University, Martmount Manhattan, Hofstra, and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center. Maxine was the director of LINKS, the Limón Initiative Nurturing Kids program and has staged excerpts of "A Choreographic Offering" by José Limón for universities. She has directed her “Maxine Steinman & Dancers” since 1998, producing annual concerts
