Rose Lu was born and raised in Taichung, Taiwan,
where she trained as a Break Dancer. Once she moved
to New York City, she was introduced to various styles
such as House, Street Jazz, and Hip-Hop. Since then,
she has constantly assisted NYC based choreographer
Carlos Neto in several gigs and also worked closely
with choreographer Bo Park. She was one of the
principal dancers in the Bleacher Report/ Quicken
Loans/ NFL YouTube commercials starring Stefan
Diggs. She has also performed with the world-wide
recognized Kpop band “BTS” at the CityField stadium
in Queens, NY and in Sokoglam’s opening at Soho.
Rose is currently a member of “aKompany”, a dance
collective directed by yet another NYC based
choreographer, Kenichi Kasamatsu.
