Michalis Porgiazis
Choreography
Biography:
Born in Thessaloniki, Greece in July 1991. Professional
dancer, choreographer, dance teacher and creative director.
Started
dancing at the age of 15 and teaching since 2010 in the
biggest danceschools of Greece and later in Eupore and NYC
(the Peridance Center 2017). He worked as a backup
dancer/ choreographer with many greek singers . With his
crew,
he won the internet competition for the French TV Show
"Faites Dancers Le Monde" in Paris at 2015. In 2019 he
choreographed the DreamWorks musical "Madagascar the
Musical" in Greece.
His main style is Urban choreography but he always mixes
with many other styles like afro, baltimore, dancehall and
experimental contemporary. As a teacher he wants to make
his classes interesting, challenging, but also entertaining and
fun and his main goal is for all dancers to find the way to
express themselves through his choreographies.
