    Biography:



    Juan Rodriguez originally from NY began his training at The Ailey School under the direction of Dennis Jefferson as a scholarship student where he received The Donna Wood Award. He furthered his training at The Juilliard School graduating with a BFA. Juan has danced professionally with The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet, Complexions Contemporary Ballet and has freelanced and been a guest with many others. He has choreographed for The Juilliard Dance Ensemble, The Juilliard Drama Dept., Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Buglisi Dance Theater, and French Academie of Ballet. Juan has taught master classes throughout his extensive touring career. He has taught at summer intensives for Complexions Ballet, Dance Theater of Harlem, Buglisi Dance Theater, and French Academie of Ballet to name a few. He currently teaches at Broadway Dance Center, Alvin Ailey American Dance Center -Ailey Extension, Steps on Broadway where he works closely with students in the contemporary ballet track and is on faculty at French Academie of Ballet year round.
